Grecque Athena
Named after the Greek goddess of wisdom, GRECQUE ATHENA fine porcelain by Furstenberg is the embodiment of classical elegance.
Between 1840 and 1850, Furstenberg created GRECQUE as a coffee and tea-set in the contemporary style of Biedermeier. By 1913 the style had become so popular, that Furstenberg created the entire dinnerware set.
The GRECQUE classical form has never gone out of style, and continues to be in demand 100 years later.
